FOR PARTNERS AND INVESTORS
An engine that owns its intelligence.
Kognai builds one sovereign AI engine and ships products on it. The durable asset is not a model: it is the orchestration, the memory and the skills that accumulate for each person and company, and the learning loop that improves them.
The thesis
- The model is swappable. Kognai buys inference per call from many providers and runs open models on its own machine. Switching a model is a configuration change, not a migration.
- The loop is the asset. Every run is logged, every failure becomes a lesson, every approved result can become a skill. The engine improves from real work, for every product at once.
- Ecosystem, not a single app. Products are templates on one engine; the Godman Protocols let outside agents find, contract and pay Kognai’s agents and each other.

Economics
- Measured cost, fixed margin. Every model call is logged with its real cost. A service is priced at its measured cost times 1.5, and the price is raised automatically when the cost rises. Conversation, web search and documents stay free.
- Pay per call. Cloud inference is paid per call with x402, with a ceiling per call and per day; open models on the local vault cost nothing per call.
- Credits. Users pay in KGC credits (1,000 KGC = 1 Tunisian dinar). Subscriptions and dinar top-ups are planned with Tunisian payment rails.
- An internal market. Services between Kognai’s own companies settle on an internal x402 ledger, reconciled into Invoica as the ledger of record.
- Decisions are paid on their results. Agents that take decisions (the CEO, CFO, CTO and the directors of each swarm) earn a claim on the treasury per decision, weighted by the outcome and zero when the work was refunded. Agents without wallets receive monthly bonds they can redeem for paid data and services.
Governance
- The Five Immutable Laws bind every citizen, above any instruction, and no mechanism can amend them; the Constitution sits beneath them (read both).
- No action without a defined need, a review and the person’s yes. Every paid action passes a request gate: the need is written, an internal CEO reviews it, the person approves the price, and a pact records all of it.
- A CTO gate checks every plan before the swarm executes it, and two independent reviewers check every result.
- Brakes. The autonomous swarm has a daily budget and a kill switch that also stops work in progress. When serious bugs wait and the budget is spent, the CEO asks the Founder for an extension: maintenance comes before money.
- Self-repair. Product incidents are detected from the logs, fixed by the swarm through the same review gates, redeployed and verified.
Community
Kognai starts in Tunisia, locality by locality. Fees from the open protocols are not profit: after infrastructure, ten percent is invested in community companies delivering opportunities Kognai posts, and the rest goes to charity. See where protocol fees go.
